Job Summary
We are seeking an Operations Manager to assist and oversee daily operations, drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage processes, and execute strategies to grow sales and meet organizational goals.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role responsible for multiple business operations, including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through restroom and shower cleanliness, facilities, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
- Driving sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
- Assisting the General Manager with proper task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Understanding financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting change to capture and capitalize on opportunities.
- Collaborating with managers in the efforts of talent acquisition.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years of experience in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
- 2 years of experience managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2 million.
- 2 years of supervising and training 5-10 employees.
- Intermediate level computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work various shift times, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
