Job Title: Operations Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to assist and oversee daily operations at our travel stops and convenience stores. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, managing processes, and executing strategies to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of employees and manage multiple business operations including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through regular safety checks, facilities maintenance, and equipment upkeep.
- Drive sales of products and services through efficient inventory management, merchandising standards, and effective employee deployment.
- Collaborate with managers to execute tasks, maintain schedule and cash integrity, and complete reporting requirements.
- Analyze financial reports to identify opportunities for growth and implement changes to maximize revenue.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
- 2 years of experience managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2 million.
- Ability to supervise and train 5-10 employees.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Flexibility to work various shift times, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
