Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, including diesel engines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including diesel engines, wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
- Provide preventative maintenance services and assist customers with roadside services.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75 pounds in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Possession of a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
