Job Summary
We are seeking a Cashier to join our team at Loves Travel Stops & Country Store. As a cashier, you will work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for operating a cash register, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and performing various duties depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
- Perform cleaning duties including cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
Requirements
- Ability to move, lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
