Job Description
As a part-time cash register operator, you will provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers. You may perform various duties depending on business needs, requiring flexibility and teamwork skills. No prior experience is necessary as we will teach you the necessary skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
