We are seeking a Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores. This role plays a crucial part in delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work area, accurately processing payments, and ensuring high-quality food service. No prior experience is required, as we offer training opportunities.
This position involves various tasks, including:
- Providing general customer service duties such as taking orders, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs.
- Balancing cash registers and suggesting additional sales opportunities to customers.
- Accurately preparing customer orders from various preparation points within the kitchen.
- Ensuring proper food safety conditions within the restaurant to deliver a fresh and safe product to customers.
- Cross-training in other departments, such as Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, or leadership roles.
- Moving and lifting items weighing 25 pounds, with the ability to work in various temperatures.
