Job Summary
We are seeking a Cashier to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Cashier, you will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and friendly atmosphere for customers. Your primary responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions, helping customers find items, and addressing their needs
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws
- Maintain proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs
- Participate in cross-training in other departments, such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
