Job Summary
We're seeking a Cashier to join our team at Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a cashier, you'll provide fast, friendly, and accurate services to customers in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with your colleagues to maintain clean facilities and ensure excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- General Customer Service Duties: Assist customers with finding items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
- Cash Handling: Balance cash registers by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Food Safety: Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products.
- Housekeeping: Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Additional Duties: Cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements:
- Mobility: Ability to move, lift 25 pounds.
Ability to work in various temperatures.
