Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Job Functions:
- Provide general customer service duties, including assisting customers with finding items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Participate in cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
