Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Cashier, you will provide fast, friendly, and accurate services to customers, while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers, while following all state and local laws.
- Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Perform additional duties as needed, including cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move, lift 25 pounds, and work in various temperatures.
