Role Overview
At Love's, our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean facilities while providing friendly faces to customers.
They provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers. Flexibility and teamwork skills are important as they may perform various duties depending on business needs.
No experience is required, as we will teach you the necessary skills.
Job Functions
- General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Ensuring proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Cleaning direct working areas, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Additional responsibilities include moving and lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in various temperatures.
