Job Summary
We are seeking a cashier to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a cashier, you will work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean store while having friendly faces. You will provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide general customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
Additional Duties:
- Cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for customers and team members.
Requirements:
- No experience is required; we will teach you.
- You must be able to move and lift 25 pounds.
- You must be able to work in various temperatures.
