Job Summary
We are seeking a cashier to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a cashier, you will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean places with friendly faces. You will provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers, performing various duties depending on business needs.
Job Functions:
- General customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Ensuring proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
