Job Title: Cashier
We are currently hiring cashiers to work in a fast-paced environment at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores.
Cashiers play a vital role in maintaining clean places with friendly faces, providing fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be flexible, have strong teamwork skills, and be willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs as needed.
- Be cross-trained in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements:
- Ability to move and lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
