Job Summary
At Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores, our cashiers provide fast, friendly, and accurate services to customers in a fast-paced environment. They maintain clean places with friendly faces while handling customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities.
Job Functions
- Provide general customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products.
- Be responsible for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
