Job Title: Cashier
At Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places while having friendly faces. They provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers.
Responsibilities include:
- General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Ensuring proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
- Cleaning direct working areas, sales floors, restrooms, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
