Key Responsibilities
- General customer service duties including:
- Assisting customers in finding items
- Answering questions about products and services
- Addressing customer needs
- Balancing the cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws
- Maintaining proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products
- Cleaning direct working areas, the sales floor, restrooms, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
- Cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
