Cashier Job Description
At Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, we're passionate about fueling our customers' journeys. As a cashier, you'll play a key role in delivering fast, friendly, and accurate services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services.
- Balancing cash registers and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Maintain proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
