Job Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Cashier, you will provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers in a fast-paced environment. No experience is necessary - we will teach you the skills needed to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide general customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Cash Handling: Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Fresh Food Safety: Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Additional Duties: Cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
