Retail Customer Service Cashier

Job Title: Cashier

We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cashier to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring accurate transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Maintain ability to move, lift 25 pounds, and work in various temperatures.
