Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and accurate Cashier to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Cashier, you will provide exceptional customer service, manage cash transactions, and maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general customer service duties, including helping customers find items and addressing their needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Use technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Participate in cross-training programs to develop skills in other departments, such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements:
- Able to move and lift 25 pounds.
- Able to work in various temperatures.
