About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Cashier, you will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean places with a smile and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general customer service duties, including assisting customers with finding items and answering questions about products and services.
- Balance cash registers by completing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Maintain proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Clean direct working areas, sales floors, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs as needed.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
