Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Cashier to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. Our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean facilities with a smile.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting customers with purchases, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Maintain proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs as needed.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles as business needs dictate.
