Job Summary
As a cashier at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, you will work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere. You will provide exceptional customer service, handling transactions, answering questions, and addressing customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Participate in cross-training in other departments, such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
