Role Summary
A Cashier at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores provides fast, friendly, and accurate services to customers in a fast-paced environment. They maintain clean facilities with friendly faces and perform various duties depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service, including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Clean direct working areas, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Perform additional duties such as cross-training in other departments, leadership roles, and moving/lifting up to 25 pounds.
