Retail Customer Service Cashier

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and friendly individual to join our team as a cashier at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a cashier, you will be the face of our brand, providing fast, friendly, and accurate services to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be willing to learn and take on new challenges. No experience? No problem! We will teach you the skills you need to succeed in this role.

Job Functions:

• Provide general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
