Job Summary
We are seeking a Cashier to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Cashier, you will work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places while having friendly faces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers.
- Perform various duties depending on business needs, requiring flexibility and teamwork skills.
- Assist customers with finding items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Maintain proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Participate in cross-training in other departments, such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements:
- Ability to move and lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
