Job Summary:
We are seeking a Cashier to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Cashier, you will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean workspace while providing friendly service to customers.
Job Functions:
- Provide general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance cash registers by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products.
- Clean direct working areas, sales floors, restrooms, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move, lift 25 pounds, and work in various temperatures.
