At Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean places with friendly faces. They provide fast, friendly, and accurate services to customers, performing various duties depending on business needs, requiring flexibility and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- General customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
- Maintaining proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Cleaning direct working areas, sales floors, restrooms, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Additional duties may include cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
