Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly individual to join our team as a cashier at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a cashier, you will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and welcoming space for customers. Your primary responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and ensuring proper food safety conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Participate in cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move, lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
