About the Role
As a cashier at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, you will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean store while providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for handling cash transactions, answering customer questions, and addressing their needs in a friendly and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Responsible for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
Additional Duties
- Cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move, lift 25 pounds, and work in various temperatures.
