Job Description
This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to multitask effectively.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide general customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
- Clean your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs as needed.
- Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Physical ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds
* Ability to work in various temperatures
* Basic computer skills and knowledge of point of sale systems
