Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Retread Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our retread center, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Dismantle and repair or replace faulty components as needed.
- Reassemble and test components to ensure they are working safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose causes of malfunctioning machines, motors, pumps, transformers, and related mechanical, electro/mechanical components.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in an industrial setting or distribution center/warehouse environment.
- Ability to learn and operate various facility equipment, including computers, forklifts, floor scrubbers, and retreading machinery.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to lift and/or move over 75 pounds frequently.
