Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Tire Retread Machine Specialist to join our team. As a Tire Retread Machine Specialist, you will be responsible for visually inspecting tires to determine their condition and repairing casings as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect tires to determine condition and repair casings as needed.
- Operate buffing machine to remove existing treads from tires and measure tires to determine proper tread width.
- Inspect finished retread using multiple-step high-pressure test machine to ensure the integrity of the casing.
- Receive and unload supplies including tread rubber, cushion gum and repair materials, envelopes, curing rim, tire casings, rims, etc.
- Assist in distribution center activities as assigned.
