BASIC PURPOSE : The primary purpose of this position is to provide support for all areas of the Risk Management Department and to facilitate a learning opportunity for the Intern.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist with claims investigations as requested and triage incoming claims to support the Risk Management team.
- Communicate consistently with members of Risk Management and all relevant parties.
- Assist with proper documentation of claims.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Past Internship experience a plus
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Hard Skills : Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
