About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tire Retread Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our tire retreading process, you will be responsible for inspecting tires, repairing casings, operating buffing machines, and ensuring the integrity of finished retreads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect tires to determine condition
- Repair casings using proper procedures and correct size repair patch
- Operate buffing machine to remove existing treads and measure tires for tread width
- Inspect finished retreads using multiple-step high-pressure test machine
- Receive and unload supplies including tread rubber, cushion gum, and repair materials
- Assist with distribution center activities as assigned
