Job Summary:
We are seeking a Tire Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Tire Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.
About the Role:
Tire Technicians take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service. They are responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties. Tire Technicians must be able to move, lift 75 pounds working in close quarters and work in various temperatures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and replacement
- Repair and maintain equipment
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift 75 pounds
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
