Job Title: Truck Care Cashier
Job Summary:
Provide excellent customer service and operate cash registers, inputting and verifying service orders, stocking merchandise, and performing light housekeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a cash register and maintain an accurate and organized drawer.
- Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders.
- Answer phones promptly and address customer needs quickly using proper phone etiquette.
- Interface with multiple electronic platforms to ensure clear and concise communication.
- Stock and face merchandise in customer area.
- Perform detail cleaning tasks, including toilets, floors, mirrors, doors, service trash cans, and wipe excess oil off counters, doors, and windows.
- Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.
Requirements:
- 6 months retail and cash handling experience preferred.
- Trucking industry experience preferred.
Work Environment:
Occasionally exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons, fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
