Job Description:

The Truck Care Cashier plays a crucial role in the success of our business by providing exceptional customer service while operating cash registers, processing work orders, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.

Main Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a smile, speak politely, and assist them with their needs
• Accurately input work order information into the POS system and verify its accuracy
• Operate a cash register and maintain an accurate and organized drawer
• Collect and close out pending invoices
• Communicate effectively with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and purchase orders
• Answer phones promptly and address customer needs quickly using proper phone etiquette
• Stock and face merchandise in the customer area
• Maintain a clean and safe facility

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months retail and cash handling experience preferred
• Trucking industry experience preferred

Work Environment:

The employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons and occasionally to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud at times.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to talk and hear, standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. Occasional light lifting not over 100lbs.
