ABOUT LOVESHACKFANCY
LoveShackFancy began in 2013 with a beach-to-ballroom hand-dyed halter dress that founder and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen made for her bridal party. Over time, that one article of clothing, created to celebrate love, has turned into a world filled with all things romantic, dreamy and drenched in optimism — from clothing to tabletop, bedding, swim, ski, travel accessories, shoes and more.
Major responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Transfer PD tech packs to production, add fit photos and copy fit notes
Book fit model, manage fit time & model expenses
Follow up with Tech Designers & Designers daily on fit schedule
Create Fit List
Organize technical data & filing
Update copywrite chart with style specs and fit callouts
Steam and measure fit samples, pre-production samples, top of production samples, prepare technical document for production fitting
Take fit notes & assist technical designers in production fitting
Follow up with agents and on daily basis on pre-production samples & top of production samples
Maintain production pattern library on the server seasonally.
Understand general specs & grading, construction & basic fit issues, and flat sketching
Requirements :
Minimum 1 year experience in tech design
Basic knowledge of pattern making
Basic technical drawing skills
Sewing skills
College degree in fashion, technical design
Strong computer skills including excel, photoshop, illustrator, PDM / PLM.
Salary Description
60,000 - $65,000
