Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers on a timely basis.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including courteous interactions and assistance as needed.
- Ensure that all deliveries are accurate and in good condition.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is well-maintained and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and manage necessary paperwork.
- Follow designated routes and schedules, but also be prepared to handle route adjustments as needed.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring they are secured properly.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages 70 lbs up to 150 lbs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle and navigate a delivery route efficiently.
