The Assistant Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the educational development of students in a classroom setting. Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of students.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a safe and orderly environment conducive to learning.
- Engage with students during lessons, providing guidance and support in subjects such as Math and other curriculum areas.
- Help develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse needs of children.
- Monitor student progress, providing feedback and encouragement to enhance their learning experience.
- Facilitate group activities that promote social skills, teamwork, and cooperation among students.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Assist with daily childcare tasks, ensuring the well-being and safety of all children in the classroom.
Skills
- Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment.
