We are looking for a Part-Time or Full-Time DVM that is a team player with a great attitude to add to our positive work environment. Someone who values client education and enjoys diverse surgery and medical caseloads would be an excellent addition to our team.
Loving Care Pet Hospital is a small animal hospital and has been practicing medicine to the highest level in our community since 2003! We are only 1 of 2 hospitals in the Santa Fe community and our community has a high need for those who practice high quality medicine. We pride ourselves on offering the best medicine to our clients so that our patients are treated appropriately.
We really enjoy collaborating here at Loving Care Pet Hospital! It's always nice to have a second set of eyes! Our regular hours of operation are 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday.Our Dr's work 4-10 hour shifts weekly. All visits are set for 30 minutes and work-ins are at Dr's discretion. We pride ourselves on client education as we are in the business of caring for people and their pets!
As a small practice, we are very family oriented. We believe the best way to provide compassionate, quality care to pets is by putting relationshipswith our clients, patients, Team Members, and communityat the heart of everything we do. It helps make work fun when you like who you work with.
We have an outstanding Dr. to technician ratio to allow our team to get maximum support. Our current team includes 1 DVM, 2 receptionists, 1 Hospital Administrator, and 4 veterinary technicians. We are about to welcome another DVM to our practice on 1 July 2023! Our team members make us special! They go above and beyond not only for our clients and patients, but for their co-workers as well. We are more than just a team; we are a family! We enjoy a team approach, and our team loves to learn! Once a quarter we will gather outside of the practice for some team building and fun! We want to continue to grow together!
Our hospital is well-equipped : we have a complete surgical suite, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, a well-stocked pharmacy, and full in-house laboratory.
