Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Housekeeper to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the home, including laundry, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior.
- Help clients engage in social activities and outings to promote independence and well-being.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by providing direct support tailored to their needs.
- Assist in memory care activities for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
Requirements
- Experience in long-term care or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- CPR certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including those in group homes or memory care settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live fulfilling lives.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving and housekeeping duties.
