Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
- Conduct routine assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting changes in patient health.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist in the daily living activities of patients, providing support in memory care settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and medication protocols.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all patients by adhering to health and safety standards.
- Utilize knowledge of physiology to recognize changes in patient conditions and report them promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a medical office or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
- Ability to monitor vital signs accurately.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
