Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Media & Marketing to lead and manage a talented creative team focused on telling compelling stories through digital channels, including social media and email. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of a cohesive and impactful marketing strategy. You will work closely with the Content Creator, Creative Director, and Social Media Lead to ensure that all storytelling efforts align with our brand’s voice, values, and marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a content strategy that highlights brand storytelling, ensuring consistency across social media, email, and other digital platforms.
- TEAM Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the content creator, creative director, and social media lead to produce high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
- Brand Storytelling: Oversee the creation and delivery of authentic and engaging narratives, leveraging both creative visuals and compelling copy to drive audience connection and brand affinity.
- Campaign Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring all content supports campaign goals and timelines.
- Content Oversight: Ensure the production of high-quality written, visual, and video content that aligns with the brand’s voice and tone, and enhances the customer journey.
- Social Media & Email Strategy: Work closely with the Social Media Lead to define and refine social media strategies, also collaborating with the TEAM to develop email campaigns that deliver personalized, engaging storytelling experiences to our subscribers.
- Analytics & Optimization: Implement a CRM, then utilize that data to monitor content performance across social media and email campaigns, using data insights to continuously optimize strategies and drive better engagement and conversion rates.
- Creative Oversight: Ensure that the Creative Director produces visually appealing content that complements storytelling and is optimized for each platform.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, product, and customer service, to integrate storytelling into broader marketing efforts and ensure cohesive messaging.

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience in media/marketing management, with a strong focus on digital content strategy and TEAM leadership.
- Strong understanding of storytelling techniques across various digital platforms, particularly social media and email marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing content production, including written, visual, and video content.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire creative teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track, measure, and interpret performance data to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
- Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality content.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in content marketing, digital advertising, or brand management.
- Familiarity with graphic design software or video editing tools.
- Previous experience in managing or working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
