Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Alarm Technician to join our team. The Alarm Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair various alarm systems, including fire alarms and security systems.
- Conduct inspections of alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine system layouts and installation requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide recommendations for alarm system solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing alarm systems to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to alarm systems and fire safety.
Experience
- Proven experience in alarm system installation or maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring and electrical systems is essential.
- Experience in fire alarm sales or fire sprinkler fitting is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
