Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems, including fire alarms and sprinkler systems. This role requires proficiency with both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read blueprints and understand low voltage systems. The Alarm Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair various alarm systems, including fire alarms and security systems.
  • Conduct inspections of alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine system layouts and installation requirements.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide recommendations for alarm system solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues with existing alarm systems to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to alarm systems and fire safety.

Experience

  • Proven experience in alarm system installation or maintenance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with low voltage wiring and electrical systems is essential.
  • Experience in fire alarm sales or fire sprinkler fitting is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
