Low Voltage Solutions, Inc. is a leading union low voltage contractor specializing in both the design and installation of structured cabling, security, audio-visual, and fire alarm system technology. With 27 years in business, our team offers a unique and specialized partnership implementing end-to-end information technology solutions within the healthcare, education, government, industrial, retail, hospitality, multi-tenant residential, and commercial office space.
To continue expanding our reach to customers, we are seeking a motivated, outgoing Business Development Manager to continue developing solid connections with potential customers and partners as well as spread the LVS mission to the construction industry in Chicago. This position will be focused on expanding our security sales efforts within the Chicago construction industry. Here’s what we’re looking for:
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for clients via LinkedIn, email, phone and networking events
- Lead the customer relationship management process from planning, proposal, delivery, follow-up and maintaining after project completion
- Assist in building pipeline and closing opportunities
- Scope and qualify opportunities with project management and operations
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends, customer drives, and meet regularly with stakeholders to discuss strategy
- Develop strategies with team and assist in the execution of marketing initiatives alongside Marketing & Division Management
- Conduct sales calls sharing LVS’s mission and service offerings
- Conduct site assessments for prospective client projects
- Facilitate pricing opportunities with appropriate divisions
- Keep track of customer base and follow up on opportunities
- Follow internal process of customer retention and opportunity tracking
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or related field
- Experience with a CRM or internal contact management system
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships in a B2B environment
- Previous experience in the security, telecommunications or construction industries
- Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends as needed
- Other duties as assigned
