Job Description
Position Title: Bus Driver
General Description
Under direct supervision of the Transportation Manager, will transport all Head Start students to and from school; assist with taking children to the dentist, doctor, and health department as assigned.

- Operate buses in a safe manner in providing transportation for children between their homes and Head Start Center.
- Provides transportation for children on Field Trips, to obtain health and educational services as directed by the Supervisor, Director or other Managers.
- Provides transportation for Parents to all Parent Meetings.
- Provides transportation to pick up supplies needed for the Head Start Program.
- Maintains the cleanliness of assigned vehicle; check fuel level, oil level, tire pressure, lights and etc. daily Report the need of vehicle repair or service to the supervisor immediately.
- Keep accurate records of telephone logs, gas logs, daily vehicle logs, daily maintenance checklist etc.
- Participate in training sessions as directed by Director, Supervisor or other members of the Administrative Staff.
