What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weatherization Assistant position at Lowcountry Community Action Agency?
· Assist with the coordination and administration of the overall Weatherization Program.
· Assist with the coordination of work schedules for the r sub-contractors.
· Assist with the preparation of necessary reports and data.
· Assist with the preparation of inventory reports of equipment and materials as needed.
· Assist with the reviewing of applications, and the selection and approval of homes to be weatherized.
· Assist with the promotion and promulgation of better housing and the weatherization of homes.
· Assist with the compilation of potential clients and with assessments of problems in energy conservation; makes recommendations on weatherization needs.
· Maintains accurate files on all activities for the Weatherization program.
· Attends workshops, in-service training, and other sessions relative to the Weatherization Program.
· Performs related work as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
